Kai Trump Recently Got Hate for Uploading an Edited Video of Donald Trump

Kai Trump was accused of uploading an edited video of Donald Trump.
Kai was recently spotted with President Trump at Game 3 of the NBA Finals. The two were on the big screen for a while during the national anthem, when booing erupted in the venues. When the amateur golfer shared the clip on Instagram, the boos were nowhere to be seen.

Critics said that the 19-year-old edited the video and removed the booing to make it cleaner. While some critics explicitly faulted Kai, others speculated that the video site from which she reposted the tape may have made alterations to the audio. Eventually, it was revealed that it was indeed the site which made the changes.
Kai Trump Was Nowhere Involved in the Audio Editing

Kai Trump was not responsible for this edited video.
The site that shared the clip with Kai, 15SOF, revealed that they indeed made the audio changes, and the amateur golfer did not ask for it. A platform source confirmed this with Page Six that Kai was not engaged in the revisions, and the changes were made solely for licensing purposes.
The source explained, "The video shared by Kai Trump on Instagram was exactly the clip delivered by 15SOF to her account on our app, and at no time did she request that any audio be altered, enhanced, replaced, or otherwise manipulated."
"Due to various broadcast, licensing, and contractual restrictions, 15SOF frequently cannot distribute original event audio and instead utilizes automated alternate contextual audio tracks as part of our content-delivery process. The audio selection process is entirely automated and is not directed by individual users," they later continued.
