Gaby López pulled off a spectacular back-nine rally to capture a win at the 2022 Dana Open presented by Marathon, held at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio, over Labor Day Weekend.

López finished 8-under-par for a personal low round of 63 on Sunday. It was her third LPGA tour win and first since the 2020 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. Megan Khang placed second and Caroline Masson finished third.

We’re taking a look inside the 2022 Dana Open winner’s golf bag to uncover which clubs the three-time LPGA tour winner uses on the course in crucial situations.

After starting out the final round several strokes behind, 28-year-old López, who failed to make the cut at the recent CP Women’s Open, knew she needed to recover at least four stokes to have a shot at the lead. She was tied for 11th on the leaderboard at 10-under-par as she set out to make the potential victory her reality.

López Sunday’s round began with three birdies during her front nine, but more work would need to be done.

After making the turn, López continued her streak of birdies on No.10. The turning point came with a birdie on No.13, when she realized she could have a shot at the lead, or at the very least, force a playoff with her playing partner and leader, Khang.

And just like that, three clutch birdies were made during an impressive late-round rally on No.16 through No.18. The back-to-back series allowed López a single-stroke lead over Khang, cementing her as the 2022 Dana Open winner in a bogey-free round.
