Wyndham Clark Shares Banter With Local Fans at the RBC Canadian Open: Watch
Wyndham Clark was seen mocking fans at TPC Toronto during the RBC Canadian Open. This happened during the final round, when Clark was part of the last tee group with Jackson Suber and Bud Cauley. Clark was booed by Canadian fans all day Sunday as he entered the course wearing a T-shirt from the United States Hockey Team.
Interestingly, the golfer was not completely distracted by the crowd's booing and ended up shooting a good, even-par final round. Clark was also able to offset the booing by scoring a stunning birdie on the infamous Hole 14. After making the putt, the golfer cupped his ear, prompting fans to boo him even more.

Wyndham Clark Claimed That the Boos Were 'Quite Fun' for Him

Wyndham Clark expected boos before the round even began.
During the post-round press conference, Clark discussed the boos, claiming they pushed him on the course. He was expecting this behavior from the supporters prior to the round, so he was prepared to face it. The golfer also mentioned that he was nervous while making the long putt on Hole 14.
"No, I was expecting boos, for sure. It was quite fun," Clark stated. "I mean, they were all booing, and then I took it off, stuck it close, put it back on. They were booing me all the way up, even right before I putted. I was actually really nervous on that putt because if I miss that, then it looks really bad."

Wyndham Clark was glad to shoot that birdie on Hole 14.
"So I'm glad I birdied it. I think some guys came up and said, You got stones, you know, that was pretty impressive. But, you know, yeah, it was all fun and games," the golfer added.
Wyndham Clark Also Spend Some Time Fishing This Week

Wyndham Clark went wishing during the RBC Canadian Open week.
During the press conference, Clark mentioned that, in addition to golf, he spends time fishing with his caddie, David. The golfer stated that he taught his caddie how to fly a fish, and that they had a great time catching fish afterwards.
"Yeah, I'm actually staying at this really cool trout club that's about 10 minutes away. Yesterday we went on the river, I taught Dave how to fly fish, we caught some fish. Yeah, so it's really cool. So we can go back, and there's ponds and a river, it's been an amazing stay, they have really treated us well," Clark explained.
